Well, it's not evolving fast enough for me. So I think I'm gonna go sue Sony over this. That's rational............

I don't know how many copies AW sold on 360. But I'd assume 1 million or so. That would certainly have been at least doubled and that's conservative. Because that's the kind of game (were it not 360 exclusive first) that would appeal to a wider range of the PS audience than I think it did the 360 demographic. Heavy Rain's sales are a perfect example. Even with all the negative press it got for being 1 big QTE (which I don't agree with BTW), and having all it's spoi...

I havn't had any issues on PS3 since launch so I won't download this one. Just in case. Though I was planning on skipping the patch anyway. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.......and it ain't broke for me.

And just so everyone knows, if you go back to an older version (assuming this patch broke the game, which I don't neccesarily believe some random person onliine saying this, in fact I'm assuming you're lying like I do with everyone else online...

Not 5 minutes ago I was saying on the GTP forums about the power of Gran Turismo. It's not many game you can invest 60 MILLION DOLLARS into and make all that money back just on a paid demo of sorts (GT5P), nevermind all the sales of the main game itself. And what, a million people bought that $13 DLC pack? And this is even on a console that you can't call the darling of the gaming media this console cycle, that's for sure.

There are very few games up in that leagu...

Is it REALLY all that ludicrous when you think about it? Maybe you have bad long term memory, or perhaps you didn't keep up on gaming news at the time......but here's a little reminder of how potent the anti-PS3 MS Xombie online attack force can be JUST posting reports of broken software when patches/updates release.

Years ago when PS3 was just finally hitting it's stride.....I think it was 2008.....Sony released a PS3 firmware update that changed a few thing. The...

I've been on the PS3 version since day 1 and I havn't had any problems that needed fixing in the first place. I never get any real noticable FPS drops aside from once in a while, typically in the same spot. I was getting the "hanging" when oprning menus obviously, but I figured out for myself like the 3rd time it happened that first night that it was auto-saving when I opened any of my menus. I disabled it and have been sitting pretty since.

Oddly enough, I ...

He's just being a typical cranky internet guy. Nothing new.

The DLC is OK. $1 a car isn't too bad but the last car pack was a FAR more impressive value. No tracks is a bit of a letdown, but there's plenty more DLC coming, I'm sure.

But the update itself......WOW!!! Awesome!! Changing rims on standard cars was my #1 greatest wish for GT5. That one costomising option takes that 800 cars that were basically all the same for everyone aside from c...

Well that is your opinion, and I can respect that it's your opinion. But my opinion of Live is not all that positive. I was a Gold member from whenever I got the first X-Box from a friend some time in 2004, until I traded in my 360 in 2007 and to me as a gamer, all I felt like I was getting for my $50 a year was being able to play online, and yes the party system was good. But cross game chat which everyone demands on PSN, imo is nothing but a waste of bandwidth. When playing Halo 3 back ...

What does it matter if the free games are "what you WANT"? What matters is the value, and you're getting to play games that are often great that you probably would have never even gotten to play, nevermind enjoy. I havn't "WANTED" 75% of the free games Plus has given me, yet I enjoy most of them to the point that I've went and spent money on developer's games/DLC.

For example Plus gave me Dead Nation, which I NEVER would have bought, but I ...

LOL......ZING!!!!!

I know some people are against plus for some reason, and I kind of understand it since I'm also against MOST subscription models, since most subscription models don't give you what I consider your money's worth. But I think Plus is FANTASTIC if you have a PS3, but if you have a PS3 and a PSP/Vita (soon) it really is the best value on the gaming market (aside from all the free gaming on PC). You get SO many free games a year for that $50 investme...

I don't care what anyone says. The U.K.'s version of english is so rediculous sometimes, and very inconsistent. Regardless of dialect any American can talk to any other American (assuming they can even speak english these days), and I'm not talking about the ghetto "ebonics" english. Because I think we can all agree that's hardly a language in any form, nevermind it being a form of english. But in the MUCH smaller U.K. english speakers maybe even just 100 miles away ...

I never knew Karen Traviss was the writer for Gears. That is absolutely shocking to me considering how bad Gears' story is, and how great of a sci-fi writer Karen Traviss is.

I'm nat familiar withh her work ouside of Star Wars, particularly her stories based around Boba Fett and the Mandolorians. But based on those stories, and now learning that she had written Gears of War's story, Gears should have had an excelent story. If anyone wants to read THE BEST Karen T...

Last night I went to Best Buy to finally upgrade my original launch 60 to a Slim with this new bundle. Though the line at best buy went around the building so I went to a Gamestop down the street. They had JUST enough of these bundles there for everyone in line that wanted one (like 25 people or so). I guarantee this bundle is going to be a HUGE seller. I live in rhode island. And on one like 5 mile stretch of road there are literally 4 gamestops, 2 super wal-mats, 2 targets and a best buy. A...

I agree that some were left in on purpose, but I think that's good, and I disagree with your other comment.

Who would want to use cheats in GTA? Or CoD? Or the old DOOM games? Or the level skips in Mario? Or the millions of other cheats millions of gamers have always used if they wanted to cheat?

IMO in single player games cheats are great. Sometimes it's fun to be God (in game). It's also fun to have a challenge and play by the game's rules t...

disappointed? Let's be honest here. All these kinds of cheats/glitches in Skyrim that let you do things like this (infinite skills, gold and in a way smithing ultra-powered equipment, but in that case you have to max smithing, alchemy and enchantment, so it's not a glitch, you spend alot of perks to be able to do that, and there's a damage negation cap anyway) you have to WANT to do these things. They aren't game breaking where you can do these things accidentally. So they rea...

I know as a gamer it makes no sense to release a demo a month or so after the actual game releases. But from a business perspective it's absolute genius, and if I were a developer or publisher, that's exactly what I would do. Because a demo can be good or bad for the people trying to make money.

To release a demo after launch, you get ALL the people who are excited to play the game day 1 to buy the game when it launches i.e. preorderes and what-not. Then out of all th...

Anti-online-pass people have absolutely no argument to stand on. Online passes don't cost a dime if you buy new. You don't have to buy it the day it comes out for $60 USD either. Wait till it drops to $20 or $40 if you want, which is what you people have to do when you buy used anyway, right? I mean you're not all so cheap and lame that you wait for the first used copy just to pay $5 less I would hope.Wait for a price drop. The online pass is still in the box as long as it's ...

Well.....you can make them rediculously overpowered if you also have maxed alchemy to create the best fortify potions, and then game the system making more powerfull (beyond the max fortify levels in the game for both potions and armor. And then on top add overpowered enchants on the overpowerd equipment.

But just doing it with enchant and smithing maxed and normal leveled potions keeps everything within what would be the games "rules".

And @ DanSol...

Best tip I can give anyone in Skyrim, regardless of class, is to have smithing and enchanting maxed to 100 and the usefull perks for you in each tree taken. Then enchant a fortify smithing set of armor (well actually just hands chest rings and necklace. Then when you improve equipment it will improve even more powerfull (damage or defense wise) than it would just based on your 100 smithing skill. Then hey......why not even swigg a fortify smithing potion on top of your fortify smithing armor....

Very few problems for me as well. The only time I notice any framerate drops is in towns. But the most I've played at one shot is about 3 or 4 hours, so maybe I'm not playing long enough to get the problem people are talking about when they play for a long time.

The problem you're talking about isn't something that's going to be fixed because that's the U.I. Bows are a two handed weapon. End of.
BUT, here's a tip for your problem. You don&...
